FINAL IDEA
a) purpose
The purpose of my app is to allow student and young adults find freelance jobs quickly as well as making contacts and friends. You are able to discover people giving jobs as well as creating your own jobs for people to do. This can include anything from creating album art to doing deliveries for people.

b) format/style
The format will be mainly quite professional however keeping the same sort of feel as other social media applications. The style will be simple, with 5 different ‘tabs’ for different purposes. Tab 1 will be your profile, tab 2 will be the search and explore page, tab 3 will be where you have an option to create your own job, tab 4 is any notifications you may have and tab 5 will be where you can send and receive messages from workers or employers. Colour schemes will be simple analogous blues and whites with mainly just straight edges to make it looks clean and professional as it is essentially a place to find work.

audience is quite broad, with the age gap being 15-30, all genders and good
with tech. The majority of the users are students, with either a part time job
or unemployed.

The app would create revenue by advertisement as it is the most common and effective ways. For example if someone wanted to view a job role, there will be ads displayed at the top in a bar form. If someone were to click this ad, they will be redirected to a webpage and the app will make around 5-10p per month to create their revenue. Each advert will be organised so it suits the type of person who is viewing a job

Some legal and ethical issues may include people copying other people photos and posting them as their own, which is plagiarism.

measures
To keep people from being hacked, they will have a two-factor authorisation option for when they log in. This means when they enter their password, it would also text or email (depending on which option) them a code which they can use to safely log in.

My target audience will easily be able to navigate their way around this app / website as it is built for the younger generation. It is very easy to navigate because everything is labelled simply and the design is very modern. There are no bright colours or anything to distract the user from its actual purpose. The good thing about this is that older people would also be able to use it if they needed to because of it's simplistic design. The target users are any gender aged 15-30, however anyone older is able to use it. There is a bar at the bottom of the app which is like the menu of everything. It has four features; home page, search page, notifications and your profile. This makes everything clear and easy for users to find.
